Pat Murphy


Pat Murphy

Pat is married to Brenda and they have six adult children, one boy and five girls. They also have eight wonderful grandchildren. Pat has been involved in church ministry for over 20 years and is an ordained minister with CCI (formerly called Assemblies of God Ireland) since 2011. Pat’s background is as a local businessman and owned a hairdressing salon with Brenda for approximately forty years until his retirement in 2016. Pat has also been pastoring for many years and is Lead Co-Pastor of WxCCC with Paul. He leads a weekly Bible Study, Prayer Meetings and Teaches at Sunday morning services. He and Paul are involved in prayer ministry with people for many years. Pat also works as a volunteer at the Feed Wexford Food Bank. Pat now lives in Enniscorthy with Brenda. It is Pat’s desire to see Wexford won for Christ through the sharing of the Gospel.

Paul Phillips


Paul

Paul is married to Cathy for over 36 years as of 2019. They have three adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. Paul has been involved with Wexford Christian Community Church for over 20 years now. He has served in Youth Ministry, which involved overseas mission and co-leading, with his wife Cathy, to Christian Summer Camps. He was also involved in Worship Leading over many years and still serves on the Worship Team. Paul has also been involved in prayer ministry with Cathy and Pat for many years. His background is in Social Work in which he holds a Masters Degree (MSW) through University College Cork. He is also an ordained minister with the CCI (Formerly named Assemblies of God, Ireland) since 2013 and holds a Distinction in Masters of Theology Degree through the University of Wales, Bangor. Paul has been pastoring for many years and is Lead Co-Pastor of WxCCC with Pat. He retired from Social Work in 2012 to be a full-time Pastor. He leads weekly Bible Studies, Prayer meetings and teaches regularly from the Word of God at Sunday Services. He is also on the leadership of Feed Wexford Food Bank, which is part of the work of WxCCC. Paul’s desire is to see the church members continue to grow in relationship with each other and in the Word of God, and to not compromise the truth of the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is also his hope that those who come to WxCCC will want to become an active part of the church family and its vision.

Cathy Phillips


Cathy

Cathy is married to Paul and between them they have 3 fantastic adult children and 2 wonderful grandchildren aged 16 and 10 years. Cathy has been involved with Wexford Christian Community Church for over 20 years with Paul. She has served in Youth Ministry and regularly leads the Youth Group of WxCCC. She has been on mission with a Youth Team in the past and also to Christian Summer Camps. Cathy works full-time as a Money Advisor with MABS. She holds a Diploma in Youth Work and First Line Management through the National College of Ireland. She also holds a Diploma in Accredited Money Advice through the University of Ulster. Cathy has also founded and regularly teaches at the Women’s Conference meetings with the support of other ladies. This runs now on a monthly basis with the emphasis on ministering to women and to see them grow in their giftings. Cathy also teaches at Sunday Services on a regular basis and leads the Sunday School teachers and curriculum development. She has been Worship Leader for many years and continues to focus upon Christ centred worship. Cathy is on the pastoral leadership of WxCCC and brings strengths that are invaluable. She has been a pastor for many years and has a heart for those who are discouraged and broken. Cathy is also on the leadership of Feed Wexford Food Bank, which is part of the work of WxCCC. She is actively involved in liaising with outside organisations responsible for food collection and delivery. Her desire is to see people walk in their giftings and to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ shared to win souls for the kingdom of God.
