We are delighted to be able to announce an exciting up coming free event!

Thanks to the very kind permissions given by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association we will be showing the film 'The Hiding Place' here at thechurch centre on September 15th.

Details on the picture below, but the film will start promptly around 7.30pm and the event is open to all those aged 8 and over. Those attending who are between 8 & 12 years of age must however (due to the nature of this film) be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

I am delighted to be able to share a heads up for all you ladies in our church family.

Coming on June 9th, and starting at 7.30 pm this  should be a very powerful, encouraging and informative meeting.

Great news for all the women!  Our next Women's Conference is being held on Friday February 17th at 7.30pm here in the Church centre.

Our guest speaker will be Rev. Gift Odinaka Okereke who is from Nigeria and is the founder of “Word and Praise Academy” and the administrator of “Word and Praise churches”.

Come and listen to testimonies of her life which will bless your life and give you hope that God is still a miracle working God.

The Alpha Course is a very excited and very informative course introducing the Christian faith and answering many of the big questions that we face in life.

There will be an Introduction Evening held at Wexford Christian Community Centre, (Unit 31, Westpoint Business Park, Clonard, Wexford, County Wexford) on Tuesday January 31st, 2017 and starting at 7 pm.

The course will then run for 10 weeks being held each Tuesday Evening at 7pm also at Wexford Christian Community Centre.  There will also be an Alpha Away day being held on March 11th, 2017.

We really would love to see as many folk as possible come to this course.

   Due to concerns about the closeness of the previously announced date to the Christmas weekend we are bringing our Carols By Candlelight service forward by one day.  It will now be on Thursday December 22nd.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I thought it would be a good idea if I shared just two or three of the events that we have planned so far this Christmas time.

Starting with one for the Church Family.  Our Evening of Giving Thanks,
  This is open to all the members of our church family and is being held on December 4th @ 6.30pm. An evening of fun food and fellowship, it is also an evening where many members of our church family share their gifts with us.

The next event on our church calendar this evening is one which is open to all and is our Nativity Play.

  This year our Nativity Play - "For Unto Us a Child is born" - will feature as part of our Sunday morning service on December 18th.  It is open to all and is always well appreciated.

The last (but not the least) of the three events I wanted to share with you for this Christmas time is our Carols By Candlelight evening.
  Always one of the most fondly anticipated evenings in our Church Calendar this year it is being held on Friday December 23rd at 7.30pm and again this one is open to all.

So don't forget to put these events on your calendars and I look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi all,
As many of you will know we were expecting to have visiting Bishop Augustine Kelechi Okereke and his wife Rev Gift Odinaka Okereke with us this weekend and I have recently displayed pictures of posters announcing their being guest speakers at our Women's Meeting this Friday Evening, our Men's Breakfast Saturday morning and at church on Sunday morning.

Due to circumstances beyond our control their visit has now had to be cancelled at this time. Each of these meetings - the Women's meeting and the Men's Breakfast will still go ahead a planned but with different speakers and obviously our Sunday morning service will go ahead as normal.

Coming up on Sunday October 16th, this should prove to be a wonderful time of God's mercy and grace!  We would encourage all those who can attend to make a special effort to do so.  Bishop Okereke will also be speaking at our men's breakfast on the Saturday and his wife Rev Gift Odinaka Okereke will be speaking at our Women's meeting on the 14th.

Well, we are delighted to be able to announce that on Saturday August 20th we will be hosting one of PJ Hanley's 'Understanding Bible Prophecy' Seminars.

This will be held at the church centre here at Unit 31, Westpoint Business Park, Clonard, Wexford, Co. Wexford and we will be announcing the start time as soon as final details have been confirmed.

This really should be an excellent, informative and inspiring seminar and one not to be missed.

  I am delighted to be able to share news of the next Women's Conference - entitled 'Hope' - with you all.  It will take place on Saturday May 28th and the Guest Speaker will be Fiona Fallon - Author of 'A Voice of Hope'.  This really should be a wonderful, challenging and inspiring conference and one you will not want to miss.

Building on the success of last year's course...  

Commencing on Thursday April 7th, 2016 and starting at 11.30 am and finishing at 1.00 pm.  The Alpha Parenting Course - covering ages 11-18 - will be held here at the Wexford Christian Community Centre and will be run for a period of 10 weeks.  All are welcome and if you are interested in attending please contact Rosemary Fitzpatrick.   We will also be running a course covering ages 0-10 at sometime in the Spring.  

These are excellent courses and, as we say, all those wishing to attend are welcome.

Keith Mills has written a very interesting article on www.independent.ie in which he explains why he will be voting 'No' to same-sex marriage, even though he is gay.

The article which includes the statement "As the public debate on the forthcoming same-sex marriage referendum got under way in earnest last week, you could be forgiven for thinking that the two opposing sides consisted of the entire gay community and all political parties in favour of redefining marriage, with the only opposition coming from the Catholic Church and Catholic organisations such as the Iona Institute. The truth, however, is more complex as I know only too well as an agnostic gay man supporting a 'No' vote in May." can be found here (Keith Mills article www.independent.ie) and makes for very informative and interesting reading.
